Myself and my friend went exploring the former Rothbury Branch Line.
The Rothbury Branch was a 13-mile single track railway line in Northumberland, England. It was built by the Northumberland Central Railway and was conceived as part of an alternative trunk route from Newcastle to Berwick. It opened to the public in 1870.
A few images were taken during our outing.
This image is of the former Brinkburn Station. It is situated in quite an isolated area with very little around nearby.
